Elected Officials in the State Assembly’s Housing Committee Voted on May 11th to Vote for the Trust. The Blueprint for Change is renamed the Housing Trust and Tenants are being told that the Trust and RAD/PACT are still Public Housing. According to the Federal Housing Act of 1937, only Section 9 is Public Housing. Support the Tenants fighting the privatization of Public Housing. There are many examples in housing history were private entities only care about profits and it has led to devastating inequalities throughout the nation. Only Federal Law can protect vulnerable tenants.
